But we are not a religious cult. We are a Cult of Art, Design and Technology.

Our Manifesto.

🔻WE LOVE OUR ART🔻

We understand our craft intimately, and we protect it with our passion and what we've learned. We master the technology behind it and its corresponding methodologies.
We're Adepts. Since the word "adept" means "having a natural ability to do something that requires skill."

🔻WE WORK WITH LIGHT🔻

We have the skills to design lighting for stages, films, buildings. And we love to share, learn and spread the word. This has always been the nature of lighting professionals. We do what we do because we don't want to do anything else.

🔻WE ARE A COMMUNITY🔻

We want to master the medium, not just tools. We acquire wisdom through our colleagues, just as they acquired it. Our profession draws on the collective unconscious that began with Greek theater and evolved as an archetype over the centuries—on stage, in books, in the industry.

🔻WE USE OUR OWN LANGUAGE🔻

We have the right to our own symbols, our technical language, and our myths. We worship our codes. It's in our minds, in our words, in our behaviour, and in our performance. We have our own culture, and we want to preserve it.

🔻WE LOVE KNOWLEDGE🔻

We want to teach, learn and talk. We want to create educational content for designers, filmmakers, operators, programmers, technicians, researchers, teachers, and students who want to build stories and concepts through light, regardless of their level of knowledge or specialty.
